How to Go to Disneyland with a Baby

After our baby decided at 5 months old that she could sleep in her stroller, the whole world opened up to us again. With this newfound freedom, we decided to take her to celebrate Lunar New Year at California Disney when she turned 6 months old! Here are the tips and tools that helped us have a great time with our little one at the busiest place in the world:

TIPS:

  • Bring a helper if you can. This will give you and your spouse some time to peel off from baby duties and enjoy a ride together!

  • If you bring your own stroller, you will have to remove the baby and fold the stroller before boarding parking trams and buses

  • Strollers must be no larger than 31 in (79 cm) wide by 52 in (132 cm) long

  • At CA Disney, the Baby Care Center is next to Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop and across from The Bakery Tour in San Fransokyo Square.

  • At Disneyland, the Baby Care Center is at the end of Main Street, U.S.A., next to First Aid.

  • The Baby Care Center has:

    • Changing tables: Full-size changing tables for changing diapers

    • Nursing areas: Private areas for nursing and pumping

    • Feeding areas: Highchairs for feeding

    • Kitchen: Sink, bottle warmers, and microwave for warming bottles

    • Vending machine: Sells formula, baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, sunscreen, pacifiers, and over-the-counter medication
